Welcome! Thanks for your interest in the Lugoff-Elgin High School Winter Guard Program. The winter guard is part of the Lugoff-Elgin High School Band Program. We rehearse, travel, and compete as a winter ensemble. The winter guard season begins in November with auditions and continues through the beginning of April. Winter guard is a highly demanding physical and cognitive activity. Students, parents, and staff work together to create an engaging performance that combines dance, flag, sabre, and rifle work to a selection of music. Members will compete in competitions against other high school winter guards. We have very high expectations for each member of this program. Join us for auditions to see if Guard is for you!
